Race predictor
The race before the race, built on the athlete's lactate test: CP/threshold from the curve, durability, real bike setup, real GPX, real weather. Pick the watts, pick the pace, or pick the time.
A realistic course is generated below from distance, gain and descent. Generate redraws a different one with the same numbers; Predict runs the pacing plan on it.
The extra distance you can hold above threshold pace before the sprint battery is spent, the running twin of the bike’s W′. Typical 150–300 m. It only matters for short surges and finishing kicks; a long race is run below threshold, so it stays nearly full and the energy tank above is what limits you. Population default for now; a D′ test with per-athlete saving is coming soon.

The run leg's anaerobic reserve, the running twin of the bike's W′: the extra distance you can hold above threshold pace before the sprint battery is spent. Typical 150–300 m. Off the bike it only matters for surges and the finishing kick; the tri run is paced below threshold, so the energy tank is what limits you. Population default for now; a D′ test with per-athlete saving is coming soon.
No GPX loaded: both legs are simulated as FLAT courses at the official distance. Upload the real course for terrain-aware splits and pacing.
No test, no GPX, just watts, elevation gain and the kind of bike. For the real thing, use the Bike TT tab with your lactate test.
